For children K - 6th grade, our Kid’s Klub offers a monthly
outing, activity, or service project.

Children’s Moment
During our 10:30 a.m. Sunday Worship Time, early in the service, children
are invited to come forward for a Children’s Moment. It is a short
message about faith at their level.
Angel Ringers
A handbell choir for children 3rd grade and up. The Angel Ringers practice
on Wednesdays from 6:20 - 7:00 p.m. and perform regularly in Sunday Worship.

Sunday School for Children
Christian education for your children. Sundays September thru May from
9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Children 3 years old thru 6th grades can participate
in Power Xpress a rotation workshop model of learning. Junior and Senior
High young people are welcome to help out with this program.

Choirs for children of all ages. Practice Wednesdays from 5:00 - 6:00
p.m. and perform on the 4th Sunday of the month in Worship. For details

Vacation Bible School
Adventure of the Treasure Seekers: Exploring God's Promises was the theme for the 2006 VBS
at First Christian. We concluded the week in August with an outdoor worship and picnic that was well attended.
Our adult class studied Confronting the Controversies by Adam Hamilton. Thanks to all of
our teachers and helpers! Stay tuned for the 2007 plans.
Chi Rho
Youth Group for 6th - 8th grade, Sundays September thru May two Sundays a month from noon - 1:30 p.m. Leaders are: Rev. O'Hara, David and Lana Bell, and Molly and Doug Riley

Our Adult Sunday School Program offers a range of classes for all ages

Christian Women’s Fellowship
Small groups for Women of all ages. In addition to the various events
the CWF sponsors for the church membership, the CWF also undertakes community
outreach programs.
Chancel
Choir
Under the direction of Michael Metcalf our adult choir performs during
Sunday Worship and practices Wednesday evenings at 7:00.
Glory Ringers
Playing 5 octaves, our adult handbell choir is under the direction of
Yvonne Whitmer. They perform in Worship monthy and practice on Sunday
evening at 6:00.
Bible Studies
Bible Study class times vary. Call 419 289-7439 for information
on current meeting times and subjects.
Prayer Group
Strengthen your personal relationship with God and experience the power
of prayer with our Prayer Group. They meet Tuesday mornings at 11:00.
Summer Camp Programs
Chi Rho and CYF spend a week each summer at Camp Christian in Magnetic Springs, Ohio
children grades 3,4,5 spend a week at Partnership camp at Temple Hills Camp in Bellville, Ohio.
Adult retreats are also offered at Camp Christian.
