On this third Sunday of Advent, Miriam Brady will light the candle of Joy. Pastor Rich Pate will give his message on Luke 1: 5-17 titled "Promises, Promises." We will talk about who were the Priest Zechariah, his wife Elizabeth and their son John who "was to make ready for the Lord a prepared people." Lana Bell is Elder and will read Old Testament scripture Isaiah 40: 1-11, lead prayers, and serve at the Table. Following worship, we will prepare our Christmas Remembrance gift bags for our shut-ins and home-bound members and friends. The youth with Amy Shakley and Jan Robinson, will go caroling and deliver the gift bags.
